Giro d'Italia started from Hungary in 2022. Balatonfondo is an event which emphasises the signifficance of the Grande Partenza in this country as it features an amateur race taking place on two competitive stages: 59 and 177 km. It was a great experience in the center of the town Balatonfüred situated on the Northern shore of lake Balaton. The landscape is spectacular and as it was the 1st of May, thousands of tourists were there to enjoy a pleasant day. Congratulations to all the cyclists and organisers!
