Cycling Tour of Sibiu hosted another great event this year featuring teams like Jumbo-Visma, BORA, Lotto-Soudal or Cofidis. It ended with the victory of Giovanni Aleotti (BORA) who became the first rider to defend his title in Sibiu. Congratulations to all the people involved, it was a pleasure to present this event.

It was a pleasure to meet the best athletes of Harghita county (Transylvania, Romania). We saw some outstanding performances this year, so I was curious to find out who will receive the trophy this time. Well, the most points were collected by Mark Stoica (judo) while the best team was once again the ice hockey team Sport Club Miercurea Ciuc, which obtained the silver medal in both league and Romanian Cup last season. Congratulations!

The Cycling Tour of Szeklerland has a history of 10 years and I had the honor to be the presenter for the 7th time in my career. What a nice event! This season, 83 riders came to participate, representing 15 teams from all around Europe. The Austrian rider Patrick Bosman has managed to win the race. The competition ended in the town of Csíkszereda/Miercurea Ciuc, where I was born 28 years ago... :)

It was once again a pleasure to present the international marathon in Cluj Napoca, Romania. The community of athletes and amateur runners had a memorable day as they participated in the 7th edition of the Cluj marathon. The impressive stadium hosted several races for kids on Saturday, while the adults came to run on Sunday. It was not only the maraton on the schedule. The participants had the opportunity to take part in the 5 km, 10 km and 21 km run as well.

It was the second edition of the Novak Charity Gala in my hometown (Csikszereda/Miercurea Ciuc, Romania). The Paralympic champion Eduard Novak has organized a fantastic event where popular artists came to sing and play in front of a lovely crowd. They all participated in the event aiming to help three disabled children. It was a great success as over 21 thousand RON (Romanian currency) were raised on that evening.

It must be a pleasure to participate in a triathlon, especially when it takes place in a region like Brasov, Romania. It is unique for its beauty because it is located in the mountains and has a multicultural profile. This year, over 500 participants started at the international Herbalife triathlon having two distances to choose from: sprint or olympic. It was an honor to present the races, thousands of supporters followed the event in the city center.

Well, I am not exaggerating saying that car racing is one of the most spectacular sporting disciplines humanity has seen. The 23rd edition of the Harghita Rallye (Transylvania, Romania) was a superb highlight of the year, I enjoyed every moment of it. Thousands of supporters came to see the SS stage on the streets of Odorhei (Szekelyudvarhely) and they had a lot of fun. The race brought another victory for Simone Tempestini, the Italian has won the National Championship aged 21. I was honored to present this spectacular event.

A number of 17 strong teams with a total of 107 riders participated in the 5th edition of the Cycling Tour of Sibiu (UCI 2.1). The race consisting of 5 competition days ended with the victory of Mauro Finetto (Team Southeast) ahead of Davide Rebellin and Serghei Tvetcov. Cycling has become very popular among the inhabitants of the Transylvanian city of Sibiu, many of them had the ambition to climb the mountains to follow the stage finals just a step away from the finish line. It is an honor to me to present this magnificent event and I hope that cycling will improve continuously in Romania in order to have many world-class events on the roads.

It was a sunny but a quite windy race day in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) as thousands of participants took part in the largest marathon competition of Transylvania. A number of 3.500 runners joined the race on different distances. The demanding course began in the impressive Cluj Arena stadium and ended there after many kilometres completed on the streets of Cluj. People enjoyed the great atmosphere and the large variety of entertaining programs in the city. It was an honor to me to apply multilingual commentary at the marathon held last Sunday.

I was honored to present the MTB marathon of my hometown last Sunday. 227 people participated in this magnificent event held in the Ciuc mountains. The organizers prepared two tracks a shorter challenge on 34 km and a longer marathon track on 67 km. It was a sunny summer day and I was extremely happy to welcome hundreds of supporters during the race day. They contributed to an unforgettable atmosphere. The fastest rider in the elite category was Lucian Logigan from Sibiu, followed by Alexandru Stancu and the local cyclist Arpad Kelemen.
